With over 90 years of Kawai expertise in crafting world-class acoustic pianos, our ES8 Portable Digital Piano provides the most authentic playing experience ever achieved in a portable digital instrument. Its class-leading Responsive Hammer III keyboard action recreates all the subtleties of playing a fine grand piano. Premium built-in features such as Ivory Touch key surfaces, let-off simulation, counterweights and a precise triple-sensor detection system offer a smooth and natural piano playing experience.
The Virtual Technician feature further allows the player to enhance the instrument’s superior tone and customize the character and shape of selected piano sounds to suit personal preferences. Strong and surprisingly lightweight, the ES8’s modern chassis is engineered from aluminum with a reinforced keyboard base to provide additional stability. With optional matching design stand and pedal lyre, it can be easily transformed into a compact piano replacement for lounges, studio or home.

The ES8 features Kawai’s exclusive Harmonic Imaging XL with 88-key piano sampling. This unique technology creates sounds with the highest level of detail and clarity possible.

The new class-leading Responsive Hammer III keyboard action on the ES8 re-creates the exceptional touch of an acoustic grand piano with its realistic movement and rigid “springless” design working together to provide a smooth, natural piano playing experience. VIRTUAL TECHNICIAN
Virtual Technician A skilled piano technician can personalize an acoustic piano’s sound and touch response. Kawai’s exclusive Virtual Technician does the same for the ES8 digital piano.JACKS AND CONNECTIONS
There are two headphone jacks on the ES8, allowing two persons to listen to the piano in privacy. The USB jack offers both USB to Device and USB to Host functionality. MIDI I/O jacks provide connection with other musical instruments and computers. There are also Line Out jacks plus a unique Stereo Line In jack.
PEDALS
Included with the instrument is the F10-H deluxe damper pedal with half-damper capability. The optional F20 dual pedal provides both a damper (with half-damper function) and soft pedal.
OPTIONAL DESIGNER STAND AND PEDAL LYRE
The optional designer stand attaches to the bottom of the ES8 to create an elegant look suitable for any décor. The separate optional pedal lyre assembly completes the look and adds three functioning pedals to the instrument.
